About the Teachers
Mr. Lamb
I was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on August 25th, 1979. I am also an identical twin. My family moved to Yuma, Arizona in 1986, where I attended elementary school, middle school, and high school. In 1997 I attended ASU's main campus in Tempe, AZ where I began working with children through the university's nonprofit group, Camp Sparky. Within two years of volunteering, I had changed my major to Elementary Education. I graduated from the College of Education in 2002 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language.
In the Fall of 2002, I began my teaching career in the Creighton School District of Central Phoenix. I taught 4th grade for three years, coached the middle school soccer team, and provided afterschool tutoring in Reading. In 2005, I moved to North Phoenix to teach 5th grade in the Deer Valley Unified School District at Terramar School. That same year, I married my wife Theresa.
In 2008, after running my first full marathon, I decided I needed a new challenge and went back to school to get my Master’s Degree in Administration and Leadership. In the spring of 2010, I became a certified principal. Being a product of Arizona’s public education system has made me realize that we need highly educated, strong, capable teachers in order to make a difference in today’s society. Terramar Academy of the Arts has these type of teachers working diligently to prepare your children for a successful future.
Finally, I became a father for the first time in the summer of 2011. My wife and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our family. Then in the summer of 2016 we also welcomed a baby boy to our family.
Ms. Kroulik
Welcome to 3rd grade!
I am so glad to share this year with you and your student. I'd like to take every opportunity to partner together with you this year to make it a success! I believe that each child has the potential to make great gains academically as well as socially. This is my 21st year teaching in Deer Valley. I am thrilled that both of my grown kids attended school in our district. They have both graduated with honors and are learning about life!
During the early part of my life, I earned my first degree from Northern Arizona University in Hotel/Restuarant Management and after enjoying hotel and convention planning, started a family. From there, I earned my Post-Bac and Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix in education. During the second part of my life, I am living life to the fullest, accepting challenges as they come, and am becoming my authentic SELF! I love teaching and look forward to watching your student meet their fullest potential!

Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Summa Cum Laude, ASU
Hello! My name is Tiffany Thomas, and I am very excited about teaching 3rd grade at Terramar this year! I absolutely love this school and the staff already! I am passionate about teaching and am dedicated to helping your child grow this year, academically, socially, and emotionally.
Even though I was born in Denver, CO, I grew up here in Arizona. I was in the first graduating class of Mountain Pointe High School, and then attended ASU for 4 years and earned my degree in Elementary Education, as well as my teaching certificate. Professionally, outside the classroom, I enjoyed a corporate job working full-time in Human Resources for years after college. Subsequently, becoming a mom and focusing on our family became top priority and part-time work included subbing and long-term subbing.
Personally, I love my family and have been married to my husband, Randy, for 21 years. We have three kids who will all be teenagers this fall (they sure grow up fast!). All of our kids have attended school in DVUSD. Our oldest just finished at Mountain Ridge in May and will begin at GCC in the fall. Our family isn't complete without our dogs: Daisy & Lola and our cats: Jojo & Autumn. Two fun facts about me are: I grew up playing the trumpet and I have a twin sister!
I am looking forward to a great 2024-25 school year. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Also, we live locally, and I love running into Terramar kids who I have subbed. So, if you see me, say hi! :)
Mrs. Pharr
Welcome back 3rd grade families!
My name is Mrs. Pharr, your student may know me from my maiden name, Ms. Abraham. I am so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher! I am a native of Phoenix and went to school in Paradise Valley Unified School District, graduating from Pinnacle High School. I graduated from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University in 2023. Go Sun Devils!! This is my second year teaching at Terramar, last year teaching fourth grade ELA and SS.
During my first year of teaching, I was also planning a wedding and got married over spring break to my husband, Alex, who is also a teacher and a baseball coach. We have two big beautiful pups, Ranger and Zoey, who are the center of our whole world! In my free time I enjoy floating in my pool, reading, attending my husbands baseball games, planning my next Disney trip and spending time with my family and friends.
Growing up, all I wanted to do was become a teacher and be the teacher that I did not always have. I will ensure that my classroom environment is safe and positive while also setting high expectations for your child to be successful! I can’t wait to meet all of you and be a part of your child’s educational journey!
