Choir

Terramar students in the elementary grades have the opportunity to belong to our early morning choir group.  Mrs. Abbott directs both the Terramar Cadet Choir for students in 1st through 2nd grades and the Terramar Treble Makers for students in 3rd through 5th grades.  Both of these groups meet before school and focus on learning the fundamentals of singing and basic musicianship while working as a team to learn music to perform for our community.  Students in this group learn the value of commitment and collaboration with peers in an energetic, positive, musical environment.

 Students in 7th and 8th grade can select choir as an elective during the school day. The students that select this as a class will learn basic music theory, and the fundamentals of healthy singing and will participate in performances throughout the school year. Ms. Hreha directs this Concert Choir and also offers a Choir Club before school 2 days a week for any 6th-8th graders who like to sing!
